I am currently a Professor, Head of the School of Social Work, and Senior Advisor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso.
My professional and academic development is linked to research, analysis, and design of social policies and interdisciplinary interventions in child sexual exploitation and violence, as well as ethical reflection.
I coordinate the Research Forum on CSE and Childhood, and participate in the Childhood Study Group at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso. We have collaborated on developing studies and advising public agencies (National Specialised Protection Service, Office of the Ombudsman for Children, Undersecretariat for Children, Ministry of Social Development and Family, Ministry of Justice, Judicial System, Public Prosecutor’s Office, Regional Government), and national and international civil society organisations.
I am an Associate Editor of the journal Child Abuse Review.
