Ana Calderón
Ana Calderón, PhD, is a psychologist and researcher who completed her undergraduate studies at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and a postgraduate degree in focal psychoanalytic psychotherapy at Corporación Psicoterapéutica Salvador. At University College London, England, she completed a Master’s degree in Psychoanalytic Theory, a Master’s degree in Psychological Research Methods, and a PhD in Psychoanalytic Studies. During her doctorate, she developed and validated the Adolescent Psychotherapy Q-set (APQ) under the supervision of Professors Mary Hepworth (formerly Target) and Nick Midgley. Ana has conducted research both in Chile and England, with her primary focus on the process and outcome of psychotherapy for adolescents with moderate to severe depression.
She specialises in teaching research methods in psychology and quantitative data analysis. She also has extensive experience as a thesis supervisor for undergraduate and master’s degrees.
