Line Brotnow
Line Brotnow Decker is a licensed clinical psychologist and clinical researcher dedicated to developing, examining, and delivering research-based psychotherapeutic interventions to children, adolescents and their families. She is currently a lecturer and head of research for an intensive home-based intervention targeting children and families with severe and complex needs at the Yale Child Study Center. She is a certified practitioner and supervisor in MBT for children (MBT-C) and for adolescents respectively (MBT-A) and has co-developed a short, clinician-rated observation tool for parental mentalization designed to support clinicians and researchers in delivering and assessing the impact of mentalization-based interventions (SPOT-ME). A prolific researcher, writer and teacher, she has contributed to a large number of scientific papers and books, including most recently the Lewis Child & Adolescent Psychiatry textbook as well as the Psychodynamic Diagnostic Manual versions 2 and 3.
